Tero Joronen is an Adjunct Professor in Energy Technology and the Principal Lecturer at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. With more than 30 years of experience in industrial R&D and academic leadership, he is recognised for pioneering the use of artificial intelligence in industrial processes and advancing carbon capture technologies.

Tero has led major projects in bioenergy, cleantech, and process optimisation, bridging research and industry to accelerate sustainable innovations. His work continues to shape Europe’s clean energy transition and technological progress.
