BIOGRAPHY

Isabella Nardini is the Manager of International Affairs at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Energy Infrastructures and Geotechnologies (IEG) in Germany. She leads multinational projects focused on renewable energy, including geothermal energy, carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), and smart energy system integration.

Isabella bridges research, policy, and industry to drive sustainable innovations and energy security across Europe. She also serves on the boards of leading geothermal and geological organisations, contributing to EU-wide initiatives that accelerate climate and energy transition goals.
