Bergur Rasmussen is the Director of CCS Europe, a campaign dedicated to accelerating the deployment of carbon capture and storage technologies across the continent. Originally from Denmark, he brings a unique mix of political insight and strategic leadership to the energy transition.

Bergur previously served as a Member of the European Parliament with the Renew Europe group and has worked as both an intelligence officer and public affairs leader. His expertise spans energy, transport and climate policy, alongside stakeholder engagement and political strategy.
